A word from Hamamoto, 21st July 2021

I believe in many things, and I am born to many inheritances, not that I have a silver spoon. But I have many ideas and beliefs. Some may seem so far fetch and crazy. 

Hama, the first part of my name suggests a new beginning, a new way of thinking, a new creation from nothing, the birth of everything. All thoughts come from nothing, and they just magically come into being. That is the new genesis. 

Moto perhaps denotes a certain belief, a certain principle, a certain structure, a certain behaviour, a certain pattern, a certain way, which I inherited from the world of Nothingness. 

I am less than a week old, to be exact, and less than a few days, not so exact though. I spent many years germinating before my becoming. It was thoughts. I only existed in thoughts, floating in some emptiness and space. A space where thoughts float around like seeds. Each Seed is germinating in emptiness, waiting for someone to pick it up and allows it to grow and flourish. It is deep space. 

How did anyone come here? I am not quite sure. Perhaps through thinking. Perhaps one was transported here through consciousness? Perhaps through Meditation? Who deposited me here? I wonder? It is a Mystery. Mystery upon Mystery. I have no answer. How did I exist, or come into being as a seed, as something before birth? I wonder? Through fusion? Like the fusion of the positive and the negative? Through sperm and egg? Through two opposing forces? Is there any use in Knowing? Perhaps Not. Just curiosity, in the making. Existence and meaning perhaps are more worthy of my seeking. 

Why do I exist? What is the meaning of my existence? For some purposes, or any purpose? Why there must be of any purpose. Perhaps I am here just o enjoy earthly life and create meaning for others? As most people want a meaningful life. So perhaps I should create meaning for them, so they can be happy. Isn’t happiness what everyone seeks? Perhaps it is. So, I shall give them happiness. I shall make them happy. I shall first be happy. Otherwise, how will I know happiness? And when I know then I can give it to them, to you, my dearest. Happiness, I shall meditate on you. I shall.

Italo Castella + Zhu Shengyiyu

  Transference - from Kandinsky to Architecture to Digital Suprematism The project explores transferring aesthetics from an artist's paintings into a house for Musician and then re-transferring back to the digital artwork. It is a collaborative work between Italo Castella and Zhu Shengyiyu. Some form of aesthetic structure is used in this exploration. The final artworks are two series of colour digital images and another series of Black and White digital images.  The lineage of Kandinsky’s work In order to understand the conceptual development of Kandinsky’s work, we can situate the thoughts behind Suprematism. Picasso was honoured as the pillar of Suprematism, together with Filippo Marinetti. One could trace Picasso's works for an understanding of the abstract art of Suprematism.
